In addition to meeting the standard requirements of regular homestays — background checks, no criminal record, no unhealthy habits, fluent English (preferably native or near-native), comfortable housing, and nutritious meals — our Parents+ families offer much more.
They are experienced parents with stable careers, secure incomes, and safe, high-quality living environments. More importantly, they treat international students as their own children: providing love and care, while also setting expectations and guiding them toward confidence, optimism, and proper behavior in line with Canadian middle-class family standards.
